About the model

At Sage XP, we developed a diagnostic framework to assess the maturity of Internal Communications and Culture functions, clarifying where they stand today and what’s needed to move them forward. When your function moves up a level, so does its impact.


No surveys. No complex software. Just a practical tool for identifying gaps and unlocking higher impact.


Organizations are categorized into four levels based on their performance across four key dimensions:

R — Reach: How many employees your function reaches

E — Engagement: How many actively use what you offer

M — Measurement: Whether impact is tracked

Ef — Effectiveness: How well your function meets its goals

Kateryna Byelova Sage XP

SageXP was founded by Kateryna Byelova, a corporate communications leader with over 15 years of experience designing and building functions for companies with 60,000 to 350,000 employees, often during complex transformations, mergers, and restructuring.


Kateryna holds a Master’s in Communications degree from Johns Hopkins University and is the author of the first research study on Internal Communications and Culture development across the Gulf region.


She built systems that still operate years later, with measurable impact:
